By accessing or using Synapse-Sys ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Synapse-Sys is an AI-powered knowledge canvas that allows users to create, organize, and explore ideas visually. The Service provides tools for creating nodes, connecting concepts, and generating AI-assisted content to aid research and creative exploration.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content, summaries, and suggestions. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. You acknowledge that AI output should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth for any important decision. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use.
To provide AI features, your content may be processed by third-party AI providers including DeepSeek, Google (Gemini), and Anthropic (Claude). By using AI features, you consent to your input content being transmitted to these providers for processing. Each provider has its own terms of service and privacy policies. We do not control how these providers handle data beyond our contractual agreements with them.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable rate. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Free tier users are subject to usage limits as described in the plan details.
You retain full ownership of all content you create on Synapse-Sys, including canvas data, nodes, and any text you author. AI-generated content produced in response to your prompts is licensed to you for any purpose. The Synapse-Sys brand, logo, and software remain the intellectual property of Synapse-Sys and its creators.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synapse-Sys shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any conduct we deem harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted.
